“Can you hear that” is Mrs Starks whistle quick let’s go. “Sit down in your activity groups!” said Mrs Stark. I couldn’t believe it boot camp 2018 was finally here. I couldn’t wait for Tewera Camp to start.
“ Make sure your listening” said Mrs Fergus. Mrs Stark told group one and two where their activities were. “Group three listen up you are going to the rope course with Niki and Sharn.”So off we marched to the rope course. Niki Arlos mum said “ welcome to the rope course.” She said Arlo, Lockie and Tessa you are going to be my Guinie pig because I don’t know how this works.” Arlo hopped up on the rope. When Arlo got to the end I was allowed to go. Arlo made it look really easy but it wasn’t. I got on and it was going really well until the rope got a bit higher and it became really wobbly, it felt like I was going to fall off so I started to go a bit slower.I got to an obstacle that I had
seen but never done it was a rope down the bottom and a ropes hanging from the top. Next it was the tires they were really tricky because the tires were moving. We moved onto the spider net and that was really hard on your hands. It was time to hit the last rope. I thought we might be able to spider over the two ropes and worked. Then we had a couple activities after the rope course.
We came to the Achery I was really excited!! The only problem was that it went oldest to youngest so
I had to wait a bit. It came to my turn, I pulled the string back on the bow and let go, it only hit
ground. After we had finished our shot we had to go get our arrows. On my second turn the arrow wouldn’t go off but it turns out I wasn’t pulling hard enough. On my last shot I finally hit the board. Mum was standing there waiting for me to go and get my arrow off the board. I walked over to pull it out and then I hear stop! Mum wanted to get a photo of me with my arrow. It was about to be my turn again and then Mrs Stark blew her whistle. We all sprinted to the spot where we meat if there are three whistle.
Mrs Stark said “its time for the water slide so listen carefully, I want you to get your togs and a towel then put some sunblock on.” We started to walk down to the water slide. The water slide was our second to last activity for the day. The water slide was humongous. It was blue like the sky and yellow like the sun. The year 3s got to go down first since they were going after the water slide. The parents went down their was Jamie’s dad, Niki, Claris, Tracey and Ella’s dad. Finally it was the year 4 and 5s turn. It was a long wait but my turn finally came. First I wanted to go down on my bum to see what it was like, then I decided to go on my tummy. Going on my tummy was really fun so I went on my tummy again. There was a big dip in the bottom where you landed, that water was from the creek. The parents were putting dish washing liquid on the water slide. After most of us kids had finished our turns on the water slide we had to get out. Mrs Fergus decided she go down for the last time and mum got a hilarious photo of Mrs Fergus. I am really proud of myself for not falling off on the rope course, hitting the board in archery and not getting sheep poo in my face down the water

Camp Evaluation
My goal was putting my clothes back in my bag, I achieved that by making sure everything of mine was in my bag whenever I was in my cabin.
My second goal was to try new activity’s, I achieved that by making sure when I went to each activity that I gave it a go a didn’t opted out.
